Zane attended the prestigious FAMU-NYU film program in Prague, Czechia, where he produced three short films, all shot on 35mm film and in the native language of Czech.

In the summer of 2022, Zane worked as a development intern at the management and production company Sugar 23, based in Los Angeles, California. Headed by Oscar-winning producer Michael Sugar, Zane did extensive coverage on various scripts and books for the executive management staff.

Along with his passion for filmmaking, Zane plays the guitar and has written and performed original music since childhood. He has created original songs under the band name Wester Chester and is currently working on original songs with fellow NYU students.
